God instructed Abraham to let Hagar and her son Ishmael leave the house because Isaac was the promised son. However, God said he will make Ismeal also a nation because he was Abraham's son. Ishmael's blesing and greatness were tied to him being Abraham's son. A good association can bring you up and take you to places in life.
