The Pharisees came to Jesus to and told him to leave their territory and go somewhere else to minister because Herod Antipas wants to kill him. This message was to distract Jesus and prevent him from healing and delivering the people from bandages.

A blind man had people who led him to Jesus to be healed instead of using his situation to make money. You need faithful friends who may not have solution to your problem but can lead you someone who can solve your problem. 

The prophetic ministry

The early church had prophets which one of them by name Agabus was sent to the church of Antioch who predicted faminie coming on the land and it happened as prophesied. Prophesy could be foretelling or forth telling. It's our duty to raise God fearing men for the various ministries instead of closing doors to the operations of the gifts of God as there is nothing wrong with the gifts or the giver of the gifts.

Environmental Influence

Lot and his family chose to remain faithful and loyal to God inspite of the sexual practices on the land. God has always found few individuals who have stood up and did not let the practices in the environment they found themselves influence them negatively. 

I will bless your food and water

The Lord’s blessings will be on our food and water as we worship him in truth and in holiness. Sickness free life, productivity and longevity are blessings from God for our act of worship unto Him.

I will not be silent for my children's sake

There is a place in life for our children to occupy but it takes persistence in prayer and hard work to break the barriers. The world eagerly waits for the manifestation of your children. 

Remain faithful to your calling

Barnabas encouraged early believers in Antioch to remain true to the Lord as Christians. We must be filled with the Holy Spirit and engage in good works to transform lives and bring people to Christ
